creates beautiful hand-crafted glass puas/ flowers that she turns into unique leis in her home studio on the North Shore of O'ahu.
Arlie holds a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Photography & Film. In 2008, she first discovered her love for glass making while fulfilling an elective credit under the teachings of Emilio Santini. Upon graduation in 2010, she began creating her line of glass jewelry full-time, which has since been shown in multiple museums and galleries across the United States, including the MoMA Design Store, Urban Glass, and The Honolulu Museum of Art.
Arlie's first exhibition, in Hawai'i, "Forever Lei; A Study in Glass," will be held at Polu Gallery Hale'iwa on Lei Day from May 1st to 15th, 2023, which she has been working on for two years.
